A: Absolutely! While ideally baby photoshoots are held within the first 14 days after birth (with 5-8 days being best for sleepy posing), I understand circumstances vary. Please get in touch with Céire as soon as possible to discuss availability. She will do her best to fit you into the schedule.
Q: When should I ideally book my newborn photoshoot?
A: The best time to secure your spot for a baby photoshoot and to get on Ceire’s busy calendar is after your 20-week scan. This allows you to relax and focus on your pregnancy journey, knowing your baby photoshoot is already booked, most newborn baby photographers’ diaries fill up fast.
Q: What if I don’t know my exact arrival date?
A: No worries! I book provisional bookings 2 weeks after your due date. Once your little one arrives safely, simply contact Céire to confirm a baby photoshoot within the first 14 days.

A: I have gained a large range of newborn photography props and newborn baby outfits especially made for photography. During my time as a newborn baby photographer, I have invested in a large amount of adorable, high-quality props and outfits available for you to choose from. This includes beautiful mohair onesies, soft woollen blankets, hand-knit woollen bonnets, delicate hair bands, and custom-made outfits – everything you need to create timeless and beautiful baby portraits. You’re also welcome to bring your special items for a personal touch.
Q: Can I include extended family and pets in the photoshoot?
A: Absolutely! I love capturing the love between your entire family. Grandparents are welcome, (see “Pricing & Packages for which packages include extended family “). Well-behaved, freshly groomed Dogs can also join the photo shoot, but you must inform your newborn baby photographer when booking.
Q: What if I’m not feeling my best after birth? Can we still capture beautiful photos?
A: Family photos are incredibly precious! Don’t hesitate to share any concerns you might have. As a seasoned professional newborn and family photographer, Céire is skilled in creating flattering portraits through gentle posing and guidance. Your comfort is her top priority.
Q; I had a Toddler they are not at the best stage at the moment what should I do?
A: Capturing a child’s spirit is more about playful moments than posed smiles. Q: What should we wear for the photoshoot?
A: Looking your best and feeling comfortable is key! I recommend opting for earthy tones like cream, beige, soft browns, and muted mustard tones. Think texture, wools add a nice texture to your images, These warm colours create a soft look to your baby & family portraits. Try to stay away from plain white t-shirts and tops and go for more details like chunky knit cardigans, and fine wool tops or jumpers for Men. Q: How much do your newborn photoshoot packages cost?
A: There is no session fee for the baby photoshoot. My baby & family photo packages cater to various needs and budgets, ranging from €300 (4 digital images) to €1000 (20 digital images + full gallery download).
Q: How Do I Choose My Images?
A: On the day after your Newborn baby photoshoot, you will receive a link by email from your newborn baby photographer, this link will take you into your online gallery to view your images. The first gallery is the unedited version of your baby and family photoshoot, For the best experience admiring all the beautiful details in your newborn photographs, we recommend using a large screen like your computer monitor or even connecting your phone to your TV through a casting device.
Q: How long is this gallery active for me to make my selection?
A: Your baby photoshoot gallery is active for 24 hours so you to make your selection in the comfort of your own home, with no pressurised sales environment.
Q: How do I View The Newborn Baby Photoshoot Gallery:
A: Click the Baby Photoshoot gallery link I will send you. Enter the email address you used for booking the Newborn Baby photoshoot.
Q: How do I Make My Selections:
A: Each image will have a star icon below it. Here’s how to mark your favourites:
Click the star icon on any image you love to add it to your “Favorites” folder. You can access your “Favorites” folder at any time to review your selections and add or remove images as you wish. Important Note: Don’t worry about the watermarks on the images in the gallery. These are just a security measure to protect your digital files.
Q: How do I Finalise My Selection:
A: I can see your login times and the selections you make within the gallery. Once you’re happy with your favourite images, simply send your baby photographer Céire an email confirming your final selection.
Q: When do I get my final fully retouched newborn baby and family portraits?
A: You will receive a second gallery in 2-3 weeks with your final retouched images for you to download on your computer and home and you can start enjoying and sharing your images straight away with family and friends.
